Beaver
Beaver is a 1-year-old shihtzu terrier. He came to us so shut down and afraid. He absolutely adores other dogs, he loves to be the submissive one letting the other dogs play. Beaver does fantastic here with all his friends but it does take him time to settle in with strangers. He’s shy but with a dedicated loving home he is the silliest most playful little guy there is !
Soleil & Luna
Soleil is a 3-year-old mama who was found surviving in the Bakersfield orchards with her litter of puppies. With the help of another rescue, she raised her babies to safety, and one by one they all found loving homes. Sadly, after weeks of trying, mama Soleil was still waiting for hers. That’s when we were asked to take her in.
When Soleil first arrived, she was very scared and unsure of her new surroundings. We gave her the time and space she needed, and slowly she began to trust us—showing gentle affection as she realized she was finally safe.
Not long after, we learned that one of her puppies was still available. We knew this was meant to be, and we welcomed her pup into our care. The moment Soleil and her baby were reunited, her true personality blossomed. Feeling secure again, Soleil showed us just how loving and sweet she really is.
Now we’re dreaming of finding Soleil and her puppy a home together. Her puppy, Luna, is a confident, happy 12-week-old who balances her mama perfectly.

Archie
Archie is a 7-year-old French Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger love for toys! This silly boy is always up for a game of fetch and knows how to keep the smiles coming. Archie walks nicely on leash, gets along well with other dogs, and is crate trained. He is looking for a family who can give him the love, playtime, and companionship he deserves.

Joey
Joey is a 5-year-old Parson (Jack) Russell Terrier with a huge heart and an even bigger capacity for love. Joey is the kind of dog who doesn’t just join your life — he chooses you as his person and becomes your most loyal, devoted shadow.
He is incredibly friendly, smart, and affectionate, with a soft, cuddly side that makes him a wonderful companion. Once he bonds, he bonds deeply, offering unwavering loyalty, constant companionship, and endless love. He would thrive in a home where his special person is around most of the time, as he truly wants to be someone’s best friend.
Joey is energetic and playful, loves spending time outdoors, and would be happiest with a securely fenced yard to explore. He’s learning to walk nicely on leash and is eager to please. With proper introductions, he can do well with other dogs and may enjoy having a canine buddy to keep him company.
Chico
Chico is a 5-year-old Standard Schnauzer with the classic good looks and bold spirit the breed is known for. True to his roots as a member of the Standard Schnauzer family, Chico is intelligent, loyal, and wonderfully expressive — with a goofy streak that keeps his people laughing. He carries himself with a handsome, regal presence, but don’t be fooled… this dignified gentleman is always ready to clown around with his favorite humans.
Chico is looking for an adopter with prior Schnauzer (or similar working-breed) experience who understands their bright minds and devoted natures. He thrives with clear structure, consistency, and leadership. Like many intelligent, loyal dogs, Chico can show some resource guarding behaviors in the home. The good news? It’s very manageable. He does excellent with crate training, and having his own space helps him feel secure and relaxed. He is also highly food motivated, which makes training both rewarding and effective.
Chico would do best in a home that appreciates the strong bond Schnauzers form with their people and is committed to providing continued guidance and positive reinforcement. In return, you’ll get a devoted companion with personality for days — equal parts noble gentleman and playful goofball.
